Coding                      C.A.M.S.  7
Coding At Middle School for 7th Grade

The 7th grade CAMS program is a full year elective course focusing on further developing the 21st century skills of critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity through computer programming.

Students spend one semester improving their coding skills by creating interactive programs and games in Scratch. During the second semester they translate their computational thinking patterns to another graphical user interface that allows them to program games and simulations in 3D environments.

Throughout the course, students work through problem solving and debugging challenges, team building activities and collaborative projects,as well hosting two Code Walks to share their work with the larger community.
