Hi! My name is Julie Foti and this is my fourth year as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Loudoun County Public Schools. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and my Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed by the Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of Virginia.
I have worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of settings including hospitals—acute care and subacute care, outpatient clinics, home health care, nursing homes, and private practice. For the last fifteen years, I have worked mainly in the public school systems. I’ve worked with students of all ages, preschool through high school.
I grew up in Florida and began my career there. After getting married, my wonderful husband and I lived in Houston, Texas for ten years. Five years ago, my husband changed jobs and we moved to Loudoun County. I have two sons, a third grader and a fifth grader.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and of course, talking!
I am looking forward to working with the students here at Lucketts Elementary! If you need to reach me, please call the school at 571-252-2070 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
