Hi friends, my name is Mrs. Voce and I am thrilled to be starting my 19th year teaching for LCPS and my second year as a third grade teacher at Hamilton Elementary! I look forward to being part of Hamilton's quaint family community. I grew up in a small close-knit community, so this feels like home! I have been a third and fourth grade teacher at Emerick Elementary in Purcellville, VA for 15 years and two years as a fourth grade teacher at Dominion Trail Elementary in Ashburn.  My first teaching experience was in New York State as a second grade teacher. I received my first bachelor's degree in Elementary Education K-6 from SUNY Oneonta College in upstate New York.  I also received my second bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in history @ Empire State College in New York. I have taken a number of graduate courses in writing, social science, reading and Universal Design Learning.  I completed my master's degree in Curriculum and Instructional Writing at NOVA Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I am currently pursuing my National Board Certification. I look forward to a rewarding school year filled with encouragement, exploration, and enjoyment at Hamilton Elementary-Home of the Panthers!
