Governor"s School Applications can be downloaded from the site below.  Students should see Mrs. Cummings if they have questions about the application process.  All applications must be submitted to Mrs. Cummings and should not be sent directly to the Governor"s School.  A completed application must include all teacher recommendations and parent signatures!

 

 

Deadline for the Preliminary Adjudication Permission Forms is October 21st to Mrs. Cummings, the Guidance Director.  Preliminary adjudication for LCPS will be held at a LCPS (site TBD) on November 7th. Students will be informed by the Gifted Supervisor's office of their time slot.   The state level adjudication follows the LCPS adjudication for students who are recommended to move ahead.   A completed VDOE application should be submitted to Mrs. Cummings by 3:30 p.m. on  December 16, 2011 only by students who were successful at the LCPS preliminary adjudication .  This should include all teacher recommendations.
